Family-Owned Since 1995
Owners Scott and Nici Haladay
Walla Walla Vintners is owned, managed, and cared for by Scott and Nici Haladay. They are devoted to the crafting of distinctive and delicious wines that are intended to be shared with close friends and family.
Scott and Nici’s view of wine is highly influenced by their time living in Australia. With the warm weather down under, they enjoy wines that are bold and expressive of their terroir. Walla Walla’s hot summers allow for the creation of similarly styled wines. They also found their inspiration wines were complete and pleasurable due to the blending of distinctive blocks and vineyards.
It is always the goal for them to make the highest quality decisions at each stage of farming, winemaking, sustainability, hospitality, and everything in between. With Walla Walla Vintners and Cut Bank Estate, they are always striving for excellence and beauty in everything they do. Scott and Nici are excited to share the Walla Walla Vintners experience with all who visit.

Cut Bank Estate Vineyard
Cut Bank Estate Vineyard is a LIVE Certified sustainably-farmed vineyard. This certification outlines best practices for environmentally and socially responsible wine growing in the Northwest. Live certification is one of the components of our sustainability strategy to ensure we are good stewards of the land.
Our estate vineyard sits at 1467 ft. along the Mill Creek Valley in the shadow of the picturesque Blue Mountains. It’s a relatively high elevation, home to cooler temperatures brought by gentle breezes. With its southwest exposure ensuring abundant sunshine, Cut Bank benefits from the slow, even ripening that promotes steady sugar accumulation and retains natural acidity.
The vineyard’s Walla Walla Silt Loam soil receives 22″ rainfall annually, mostly during winter. This precipitation allows us to dry farm our estate, focusing our commitment to sustainability in all of our winemaking practices.
